FAQ about our web design offer:

1. How many pages are designed in the prototype?

The prototype usually contains 3 pages. However, the voting already starts with the start page. Only after your feedback will the other two pages (normal content page, contact form, etc.) be developed.

2. How many correction loops are included in the offer?

The number of correction loops is not static. You should just not change your mind several times and give as complete feedback as possible. Experience shows that there is one major feedback on the overall layout and several smaller requests for changes to individual components.

3. Does the offer include image research?

Formally not, i.e. you will not be presented with any image alternatives. However, our designers are happy to take your wishes into account and search for images for the layout accordingly, which you can then purchase from image providers. An image search can of course be commissioned additionally.

4. What rights do I have as a customer to the web design?

2. TYPO3 integration

What does "TYPO3 integration" mean?

Quality guarantee

WACON guarantees the customer HTML and CSS code that is as qualitatively flawless as possible, insofar as it is source code for which WACON is responsible. Third-party extensions or plug-ins or errors in the core system are not taken into account.

The TYPO3 integration is as flexible as possible. Header, footer as well as other non-content related elements should also be easily editable via the TYPO3 backend.

WACON guarantees an almost identical design under the browsers Mozilla Firefox, Microsoft Edge and google chrome in the most current versions at the time of order. A comparable display with older browsers (including IE11) is aimed for, but cannot be guaranteed due to the different HTML/CSS implementations of the browser versions.

On mobile devices, a uniform presentation is also aimed for, but cannot be guaranteed due to the multitude of possible end devices in combination with the display sizes and browser versions. Current smartphones from Samsung(Chrome) and Apple(Safari)

are decisive for the development.

WACON adheres as far as possible to TYPO3 standards and standard extensions during implementation, i.e. the development of own extensions is only considered if important core functions cannot be realised in any other way. In addition to keeping within the calculated expenditure, this ensures easy maintainability and updateability.

WACON orients itself in the implementation of websites - as far as part of the order(templating/programming by WACON) and possible(i.e. within WACON's sphere of influence and justifiable within the agreed budget) - to the Quality Guidelines for Webmasters developed by Google Inc.

Warranty

TYPO3 and all extensions (including those developed within the scope of this project) are subject to the GNU GPL (General Public License) version 2, a German edition of which is supplied to the customer together with this offer. WACON expressly assumes no warranty/liability for TYPO3 or the extensions used in this project. This is a mandatory consequence of the licensing.

 

3. initial filling (optional)

The initial fill includes the transfer of certain pages of your website. This is done in a search engine optimised manner, i.e. we pay attention to compliance with the Core Web Vitals (loading times, fixed image sizes, etc.) and also important factors of OnPage Optimisation and Social Media Integration. This point is, of course, optional. However, the adoption of at least part of your content by WACON has the advantage that you have a "blueprint", as it were, optimised by professionals for all further content and pages.
