Website Relaunch for nformation.de with TYPO3 v14

Technical implementation of a client-supplied design in TYPO3 v14 – with Container, Content Blocks, forms2db, and a deliberately lean, framework-free frontend.

Last updated: 07.10.2026

With the relaunch of www.nformation.de, we completed another web project based on the current TYPO3 version. The client is inducad creativ[e] GmbH from Kelkheim near Frankfurt, with whom we've had a successful working relationship for many years.

Design Supplied – Technical Implementation by WACON

The design for the new website was supplied by the client. Our job was to implement it technically in TYPO3 v14, cleanly and with strong performance.

The focus wasn't just on reproducing the design as faithfully as possible, but also on a modern, long-term maintainable TYPO3 structure. Editors can flexibly maintain and extend content without needing technical knowledge for everyday changes.

Modern Content Maintenance with Container and Content Blocks

The proven TYPO3 extensions Container and Content Blocks are used, among other things, to structure and maintain content.

Container lets you group content elements sensibly and map more complex page structures clearly. Content Blocks enables content elements custom-built for the project. This gives editors exactly the building blocks they need to maintain the website – without unnecessary options and with clear guidance.

Storing and Processing Form Data with forms2db

For form submissions, we also use our own TYPO3 extension forms2db. It lets data coming in through TYPO3 forms be stored in a structured way in the database and made available for further processes.

This means submissions aren't just sent by email, but also captured centrally and, if needed, processed further automatically. For business-relevant contact and inquiry forms especially, this creates additional options for custom workflows.

Lean CSS Instead of Bloated Frontend Frameworks

Another focus of the implementation was the website's performance. The template was deliberately built without large, bloated CSS frameworks.

Instead of loading numerous components, styles, and scripts that the website might not even need, the frontend essentially contains only what's actually required for this specific project.

That reduces the amount of data transferred and has a particularly positive effect on load times, pagespeed, and Core Web Vitals. At the same time, the frontend code stays clear and easier to maintain and develop further in the long run.

TYPO3 v14 as a Future-Proof Foundation

With TYPO3 v14, the new website is built on a modern technical foundation. The combination of TYPO3, custom-built content elements, and a lean frontend implementation provides a solid basis for the website's future development.

The project also shows that a modern TYPO3 website doesn't necessarily depend on extensive frontend frameworks. A targeted, project-specific implementation can offer advantages both in editorial usability and in performance.
